I just came back from Kim's lovely event and I am now back to relaity. I just wanted to say a quick thanks to everyone who attended the event and purchased jewelry from me. It was such a pleasure to teach such a wonderful group of women. I only wish I would of taken more pictures of the event. Kim did an amazing job with every detail of the event. Her events are definetly worth attending.
I have been waiting a long time to talk about this and I am so happy that Kim has opened the registration up for the Roaring Twenties Affair today. I couldn't be more thrilled to be apart of the creative team and teach a mixed media collage, which is one of my true passions. Kim has such a talent for hosting such lovely events, down to the slightest details. You wont be disappointed! So, check out the details of the event and please join me....I would love to see you all there!
Well, I have been making jewlery....you knew I would say that.
I went to Mexcio and LOVED it!
Lounged in this cabana every day and I had the best nap ever on the beach.
Made this cake topper for my girlfriends wedding that is comming up. I cant wait to see her walk down the aisle in her dress and boquet I made for her.
I used my business card image and made this large canvas that now hangs in my craftroom.
I will be teaching at Kim's latest event in May and I am thrilled! I hope to see you all there.
Over the weekend I made this vintage millinery and brooch bouquet for a really good friend who is getting married this fall. I only intended to start it and work on it here and there over a course of a couple weeks but I was so inspired I just kept going. Before I knew it (it took the entire day) I was done. I had all of my girl help make it. Olivia was the millinery expert and she chose which brooch would be paired with which flower. Lucy and Lily-Grace wrapped each wire stem with floral tape (a job I hated but they loved). This bouquet was made with love from my girls and I and I hope the bride loves it.
I am back now a couple of weeks from Birdsong, hosted by the lovely Karla Nathan.
We all share the same love...
We all had such a great time spending time with dear friends we normally don't get to see much.....
Had a few cocktails in the middle of the day!
We ALL thoroughly enjoyed going antique shopping at Bottoms Up (and maybe we bought too much?).
And the best part of all for me was to teach a class for Karla at her event. I really do enjoy developing a class project especially for Birdsong and then watching all of the women make it their own. That was really one of my favorite parts of the trip.
Until next year Birdsong girls!
I made this last week and I have to say it makes me smile when I wear it. The inspiration for the piece started with the silver hearts which is actually an old watch fob. I looked through all of my beads and one thing lead to another and it was done. Sometimes I can sit and effortlessly create and that was one of the times. Only if it was that simple for the rest of the time!
